All weddings are beautiful, but there are some that become unforgettable because every detail tells a story. A & C's celebration was undeniably the latter. It was a wedding that perfectly embodied the belief that the most extraordinary celebrations are those that tell a couple's story with beauty, heart, and impeccable attention to detail.

This wedding will forever hold a special place in my heart—not only because it was an extraordinary day of beauty and intention, but because I had the privilege of watching two dear friends promise one another a lifetime of love. Every moment felt deeply personal, every design choice purposeful, and every experience thoughtfully curated to reflect who they are as a couple.

Rather than following trends, A & C designed a celebration rooted in authenticity. From the floral artistry to the carefully layered tablescapes, each element was chosen as an extension of their story, creating an atmosphere that was both effortlessly elegant and unmistakably their own. The result was a celebration where beauty wasn't defined by excess, but by intentionality, meaningful details, and the feeling each guest carried long after the evening had ended.

THEIR PLANNING PACKAGE

Day-of Coordination - A package designed for couples who have planned the details of their wedding and want to enjoy the celebration without managing the logistics.

Beginning one month before your wedding, Peaks & Dreams Events takes over vendor communication, final timeline creation, floor plan assistance, final detail coordination, and rehearsal support to ensure every element is thoughtfully prepared.

On your wedding day, our team provides hands-on coordination with vendor management, ceremony and reception direction, décor setup, guest assistance, wedding-party preparations, timeline management, and end-of-night cleanup.

Our goal is simple: to give you the freedom to be fully present, celebrate with the people you love, and enjoy every moment of your wedding day.

GETTING READY

Surrounded by their closest family and friends, A & C spent the morning preparing side by side, savoring the quiet anticipation before the celebration began. While they chose to experience much of the morning together, they still preserved the magic of a first look. On a secluded ridge overlooking the property, they shared an intimate moment, embracing one another before stepping into the next chapter of their lives.

THE CEREMONY

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Stone Mountain Lodge in Lyons, Colorado, their early June ceremony beautifully reflected the effortless elegance that defined the entire day. Guests were welcomed down an aisle adorned with lush florals and flowing ribbons displayed in vintage mason jars on handcrafted shepherd's hooks—thoughtfully designed by the couple themselves. Every element felt intentional, creating a ceremony that was both timeless and deeply personal.

Immediately following their vows, A & C slipped away to sign their marriage license before driving off in a beautifully restored vintage green car. It was a quiet pause amidst the excitement of the day, allowing them to savor their very first moments as newlyweds together before returning to celebrate with those they loved most.

THE DESIGN

The reception was a true reflection of their story. Rather than following tradition for tradition's sake, every detail honored a meaningful chapter of their relationship. Reception tables were named after their favorite ski resorts, a nod to their shared love of the mountains, while olive green linens, candlelight, and lush floral centerpieces—lovingly designed by the bridal party —created an atmosphere that felt warm, inviting, and unmistakably theirs. Even the guest book became part of the experience, with friends and family leaving heartfelt messages inside a Colorado ski resort coffee table book, creating a keepsake they will treasure for years to come.

DINNER MENU

Dinner was equally intentional. Instead of a formal plated meal, guests enjoyed two of the couple's favorite food trucks, serving authentic Mexican with Taco Bron Food Truck and Greek with B&D Mediterainian cuisine. The Greek menu held particular significance, celebrating the unforgettable year they spent living together in Greece. Before making their grand entrance into the reception, A & C took a private moment to enjoy their first meal as husband and wife—a simple tradition that allowed them to soak in the joy of the day before joining the celebration.

THE RECEPTION

As the sun dipped behind the mountains, the reception transformed into an unforgettable evening of music and celebration. The dance floor came alive with a live band, Night Heron Drive —a surprise gift from the bride to the groom—that kept guests dancing through an energetic mix of classics and crowd favorites. Surrounded by the people who love them most, A & C embraced every moment, raising a glass to their future and dancing the night away in their Chacos, a fitting reminder that the most memorable celebrations are those where you feel completely yourself.

The most meaningful celebrations aren't built around trends—they're built around your story. Incorporate the places, experiences, traditions, and little moments that have shaped your relationship. When every detail reflects who you are together, your wedding becomes more than a single day—it becomes an experience your guests will never forget.

Being entrusted with A & C's celebration was an incredible honor, but witnessing two dear friends begin this new chapter together made it all the more meaningful. It was a day filled with intention, authenticity, and overwhelming joy—one that I will forever be grateful to have been a part of.
